The role of the candidate will be to answer queries from customers for an e-commerce business which sells multi-media products to customers native to Germany and France. Fluency in all aspects of German and French is important but a high calibre of written German is particularly important as the majority of queries are received in German language. Communication with customers occurs mainly via email, which means the candidate should be familiar with using MS Word and MS Outlook. Previous customer service experience is an advantage but not essential, full training will be given. Ambitious candidates who show good performance may be given the opportunity to lead other German/French customer service staff as the business grows.
