Prestigious global services provider is seeking to recruit a Head of Translation Operations.  Their specialist divisions combine the latest technology, proven processes and highly-skilled staff to deliver complex services at each stage of the translation product lifecycle to meet the diverse needs of a blue-chip client base spanning Europe, North America and Asia.

Reporting to the Global Director of Translation Operations, the Head of Translation Operations is responsible for ensuring the efficient, accurate and timely completion of client projects, developing procedures and internal controls as needed, in conformance with company policies and practices.  This will involve supervising the translation, production and proof-reading management staff in achieving the overall objectives of each department, bringing cohesion to these individually managed functions.

Key responsibilities will cover analysing workflows, managing scheduling, training, supervising anf evaluating assigned personnel to ensure performance objectives are met.  You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of client projects to co-ordinate resources and analyse work levels and changes in staff levels/positions to meet client needs.

The successful candidate will have operational management experience, ideally in the translation sector, excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise.  You will have employee supervisory experience and the ability to manage staff, providing clear direction, goals and objectives.

You will ideally be educated to degree level, with operational management experience, ideally in the translation sector.
